The AP 2510 hybrid belongs to the butterfly type, which determines the characteristic shape of the flakes when the grain pops. The variety is distinguished by large grain size and high yield. The popping expansion index is 45–46 cm³/g.
The plant has good disease resistance and pronounced early vigor. The maturity dates are comparable to the AP 2505 hybrid. The crop is intended for commercial cultivation for the purpose of producing high-quality popcorn.
