The plant belongs to high-growing hybrid forms. The variety forms large ears approximately 23 cm long and weighing about 315.5 g. The ears are characterized by good yield potential and the presence of 20–22 rows of kernels with complete tip fill.

The hybrid possesses a complex of disease resistance, including high resistance to common rust (Puccinia sorghi) and intermediate resistance to northern corn leaf blight (Setosphaeria turcica). Resistance to maize dwarf mosaic virus (MDMV) is also claimed.
