The sweet corn variety "Pokusa" F1 is late-maturing, with a growing season of about 106 days. The plant reaches a height of 170 cm, and ears are set at a level of 40–60 cm. The ear weight reaches 300 g with a length of up to 22 cm; the yellow grains are arranged in 16 rows. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and processing.

The grain hybrid SM Pokusa (FAO 230–240) is intended for silage, grain, production of grits, bioethanol, or biogas. The grain type for this variety is intermediate (semi flint/semi dent).
