The variety is a mid-season hybrid with a vegetation period of 86 days. Plant height reaches 223.5 cm with an ear placement height of 91 cm. The ears are 21.5–23 cm long, 4.8–4.9 cm in diameter, and contain 18 to 20 rows of yellow kernels.
The plant possesses high resistance to common rust, northern corn leaf blight, and maize mosaic virus. In a number of field trials, susceptibility to ear splitting was noted.
