The Vision MXR hybrid reaches a height of about 183 cm, with ears attached at a level of 50 cm from the ground. The ear length is 18–20 cm, and it contains 16 to 20 rows of yellow kernels.

The plant possesses complex resistance to maize dwarf mosaic virus, common rust (race RpGDJ), and intermediate resistance to helminthosporiosis. It is intended primarily for fresh market production.
