The 19GBL2 line was used together with the МЕК6562 line in the hybridization process to obtain the ДКЦ 6590 corn. The plant height of this hybrid is 199 cm, the cob has a conical shape and a medium diameter. The yellow grain is of an intermediate type, closer to dent.
The average grain yield is 118.4 c/ha, and green mass yield is 406.9 c/ha. The starch content in the grain varies within 69.8–71.8%, protein content is 7.0–7.1%. The thousand kernel weight ranges from 245.6 to 278.7 g.
