The hybrid belongs to the medium maturity group with FAO 310–320 and a vegetation period of 110 to 125 days. The yield is 145–160 c/ha. The plant has a strong stem and a powerful root system; the ear attachment height is 110–120 cm. The grain is of the flint-dent type, large fraction; the thousand kernel weight reaches 340–360 g.
The starch content in the grain is in the range of 70–72%, the protein content is about 10%; the hybrid is characterized by a high rate of moisture loss. The plant is resistant to helminthosporiosis, common smut, fusarium, and the European corn borer. The hybrid also possesses resistance to lodging, drought, frost and cold hardiness, as well as the ability to regenerate after mechanical damage.
