A local variety known as Popcorn di Caravaggio or simply Caravaggio, originating from the area of the town of Caravaggio in the province of Bergamo, Italy. Plants of this type reach a height of about 160 cm.
This maize variety is characterized by an early flowering period, which occurs approximately 80 days after sowing. The kernels have a yellow-orange color.
