The Chambord maize hybrid is classified as a crop with a dent-flint grain type. In forage quality studies, this hybrid was used for silage production, and its grain was analyzed for the rate of starch and protein degradation in the rumen of ruminant animals.
According to test results, the hybrid belongs to the mid-late maturity group with an FAO 260–290 rating. Detailed agronomic characteristics, such as plant height or yield indicators, are not available in open publications.
