The Codeos hybrid belongs to the flint-dent grain type and is intended for grain cultivation. The plant reaches a height of 265–270 cm, with ears attached at a height of 110–115 cm. Each ear forms from 14 to 16 rows of kernels with 38–40 kernels in each, and the thousand kernel weight is 295–300 g.
The yield potential of the hybrid reaches 136 c/ha. The plant is distinguished by rapid initial development, adaptability to difficult climatic conditions, and high drought tolerance. Marked resistance to Fusarium, Helminthosporium, and common smut, as well as to lodging, has been noted.
