The maize hybrid Corioli CS belongs to the mid-ripening maturity group, with a maturity index of 290. The main direction for use of the variety is silage mass production.
During experimental studies on the effect of shading on this hybrid, it was established that light deficiency leads to a delay in development, a decrease in plant height and leaf area index, and a slowing of senescence processes. Furthermore, shading reduces dry matter yield and the overall productivity of biogas and methane, while increasing the concentration of crude protein and crude ash in the plant mass.
