The maize hybrid Demetro is intended for silage cultivation. It belongs to the mid-season group with an FAO rating of 260. Morphologically, it is characterized by grain of flint or intermediate type with a yellow crown and the presence of very long ears.

During testing, the hybrid demonstrated an average dry matter yield of 19.9 t/ha. Information regarding parental lines and disease resistance is not publicly available.
