The DK 276 MV line is not an independent commercial hybrid, but is used by breeders as a parental component. In particular, it is utilized in the creation of the mid-early three-way hybrid Kremen 200 SV.
In scientific research, the line is characterized by increased resistance to high summer temperatures, which manifests in late leaf senescence and the maintenance of plant turgor. Evaluations of the general combining ability of this line are also being conducted.
