The maize hybrid DKC6890 is used in agronomic experiments to evaluate the effect of nitrogen fertilizer rates and foliar zinc applications on qualitative and quantitative yield indicators.
During the studies, it was revealed that the application of nitrogen and zinc affects the ear placement height, its length and thickness, the number of rows and grains, as well as the total yield. At the same time, these fertilizers do not have a significant effect on the total plant height and thousand kernel weight.
