The maize hybrid DN Harant belongs to the early-maturing group with FAO 200. The plant reaches a height of 265–275 cm; the ear insertion height is 90–95 cm. The ear is cylindrical in shape, 19–21 cm long, and has 12–14 rows of grains. The grain is dent type, yellow, and the thousand kernel weight is 290–310 g with a shelling percentage of 80–82%.
The potential yield of the hybrid reaches 115–120 c/ha. The plant has high resistance to lodging, cold tolerance, and drought tolerance, all rated at 9 points. Resistance to smut diseases, Fusarium, and European corn borer is 8 points.
