The Dorka MGT maize hybrid is characterized by an early maturity group (FAO 170, sometimes a range of 170–200 is indicated). Plants have a short structure with a relatively high ear placement from 60 cm. Dent-type grain is formed in conical-cylindrical ears with a red cob and 12–20 rows of kernels.
The variety possesses good drought tolerance, cold tolerance, and high resistance to stalk lodging. Rapid early growth allows for sowing when soil temperature reaches +6 °C. The hybrid demonstrates a high rate of moisture loss during ripening; potential grain yield is 6–8 t/ha with a thousand kernel weight of at least 250 g.
