Hybrid EA6601 belongs to the late-maturity FAO 700 group. Studies consider this hybrid promising for the production of silage and biogas.
Morphological characteristics of the hybrid include a leaf proportion of 17.43% and an increased grain content compared to a number of other hybrids. In the R4 phase (dough stage), the fiber content in the stalks (ADF) was noted at 41.38%. Publications also contain chemical analysis data and digestibility of various plant parts.
