The maize hybrid (Zea mays L.) with identifier EQ4824XPYZ, known in the commercial network as DKC4974, is intended for cultivation for grain. According to the results of field trials, the variety belongs to the super-early maturity group according to the FAO 180–240 system.
During the studies, the hybrid was evaluated for grain yield, moisture content at harvest, as well as characteristics of early development and resistance to lodging and stalk breakage. Information on detailed morphological traits or specific disease resistance is absent in the publications.
