The hybrid forms tall plants of about 295 cm with a developed root system and a strong stalk, ensuring high resistance to lodging. The grain type is flint-dent; the variety is distinguished by a high rate of moisture loss during ripening, which contributes to reducing costs for post-harvest processing.
The plant possesses high tolerance to major maize diseases, including Fusarium stalk and ear rot, Helminthosporium leaf blight, as well as common and head smut. The application of Tropical Dent® technology is aimed at increasing the heterosis effect and adaptation to water stress conditions.
The hybrid is intended primarily for grain production; use for bioethanol production is also possible. The maize shows efficiency of cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Forest-Steppe and Steppe.
