The maize hybrid Farmactos is an early-maturing variety. According to the German FAO classification for silage crops, the variety belongs to the S 230 maturity group; a K 210 rating is also provided for grain maize.
The variety is used as silage maize and is included in variety testing programs, within which yield indicators, resistance to lodging, and susceptibility to diseases, including Helminthosporium, are evaluated.
