The maize hybrid Fergus appears in agricultural documents, including recommended variety lists for silage. Specifically, in 2012–2014 field trials, this variety was used as a control sample for comparison with hybrids from other originators.
In a number of scientific publications, this hybrid is characterized as a variety possessing resistance to cold stress. No information regarding this hybrid belonging to the breeding program of the company MAS Seeds has been found.
