The Fido variety was included in the national register of Poland in 1999 and is classified as an agricultural variety. In scientific literature, the hybrid is most often mentioned in the context of agronomic research.
Studies indicate high susceptibility of the variety to Fusarium stalk rot. Cases of grain yield reduction were also noted when using certain herbicides, in particular Merlin Super 537 SC.
