The modern hybrid of Ukrainian breeding belongs to the mid-season group with an FAO 310 rating. This variety has a grain-use direction and is characterized by basic grain moisture content at the time of harvest.

A historical variety or line under the same name was registered in 1953 in the Netherlands. It was created based on inbred lines and was used in scientific research as a sample of early-flowering European maize.
