Galactus F₁ is a single hybrid with a conical-cylindrical ear shape and yellow-orange grains. The plants are of a compact type.

The hybrid is suitable for grain and silage production. During trials, grain yield was about 125 c/ha with a possible maximum of up to 171 c/ha, and dry matter yield for silage averaged 225 c/ha.
