The designation GH is associated with the Golden Harvest brand. In a number of publications from that time, the hybrid was mentioned in the context of comparative field trials of the efficacy of genetically modified lines resistant to pests, including the western corn rootworm.

This number appeared in agronomic studies as an object for testing yield under various protection methods and planting densities. As of today, the hybrid is obsolete and is absent from current commercial catalogs.
