The hybrid is characterized by a high content of nutrients; in particular, the oil content in the grain exceeds 4%. In scientific research, the variety is often used as a control sample when analyzing grain composition.
Resistance studies show the hybrid's susceptibility to ear rot caused by the fungi Fusarium graminearum, F. culmorum, and F. verticillioides. Upon artificial inoculation, high levels of infection and mycotoxin accumulation, including deoxynivalenol, are observed.
