The line was isolated during scientific research at the Maize Research Institute in Knezha, Bulgaria, as genetic material with valuable breeding traits. It is not a commercial variety or hybrid for general agricultural use.
The main agronomic trait of the line is low grain moisture at harvest. Due to the stable transmission of this property, the material is recommended for use as a maternal parent in the development of new maize hybrids.
