The name «Hansa» appears in maize (Zea mays L.) variety registers from the 1980s, however, this entry is absent as an independent maize variety in current breeding catalogs.
On the seed market, a sweet corn hybrid is known under the similar name «Хан F1» (Han F1). Its characteristics include medium maturity, a plant height of 210–220 cm, and an ear length of 22–24 cm, with the hybrid possessing resistance to rust and mosaic virus.
The name «Hansa» is also widely used for potato varieties, which creates a possibility of data mixing in databases for various agricultural crops.
