The variety is mid-season, with a maturation period of about 79 days. The plant is characterized by medium size. The ears are cylindrical in shape, about 21 cm long, and contain 16–18 rows of yellow kernels. The ear husk provides sufficient protection, and well-developed leaf blades are present on the husk.
The plant has high resistance to common rust (Puccinia sorghi) and intermediate resistance to northern corn leaf blight (Exserohilum turcicum). The variety is a yellow version of the Snack Pack hybrid and is intended for the fresh market.
