The Hunor corn hybrid is characterized by a wide window of optimal sowing dates and a high ability to assimilate nutrients. The plant is capable of producing above-average yields even on soils with low fertility, and yield increases significantly with the application of nitrogen fertilizers.
Morphologically, the variety is prone to forming two ears per plant. The recommended seeding density is about 60,000 plants per hectare, as excessive stand density is not advisable. The hybrid may show sensitivity to stress factors, including drought during the flowering period.
