The hybrid belongs to FAO 160 maturity group. Plants have intermediate height, semi-erect leaf type, and intermediate ear placement on the stem. The variety is characterized by very high early growth vigor, lodging resistance, Helminthosporium resistance, and retention of green leaf color until maturity.
Reaching flowering requires a sum of active temperatures of 770–800°C, and reaching 32% grain moisture requires 1250–1270°C. The production is characterized by high starch and fiber content. The hybrid can be grown as a main crop, including in cold regions, as well as a catch crop.
