The variety belongs to the early-maturing FAO 200 group and is intended for use as a high-quality forage component, particularly in poultry farming, as well as fish bait. Yellow seeds are used for sowing, and the reddening of the grains occurs exclusively at the end of the plant's maturation period.
The grain is characterized by a high content of antioxidants and carotenoids, as well as a 1–2% higher share of maize oil compared to standard yellow varieties. Including this grain in poultry diets helps improve the pigmentation of meat, skin, and egg yolk.
