The variety belongs to the medium-early to medium-late maturity group with an FAO maturity number of approximately 270. The plant is of a mixed type, combining characteristics of flint and dent maize. It possesses high resistance to lodging and stalk breakage, as well as good tolerance to Fusarium ear and stalk rot.
When grown in arid regions, the seeding rate is 70,000–80,000 seeds per hectare, and in humid conditions 90,000–100,000 seeds per hectare. When using the variety for silage, it is recommended to increase the seeding rate by 10%.
