The variety is a hybrid and belongs to the FAO 400 maturity group. Its primary agricultural purpose is for use as a silage crop, including the supply of feedstock for biogas plants.

During trials, the variety showed high productivity under different levels of mineral fertilization, including options without nitrogen fertilizer application.
