The hybrid belongs to the mid-early maturity group with FAO 250–260 and is intended for use for grain. Plant height varies from 250 to 320 cm. According to morphological characteristics, the hybrid is a semi-stay-green type with erectoid leaf arrangement; the grain type is dent.
The ear has 12 to 16 rows of grains, with 30–40 grains in each row. The thousand kernel weight is 270–300 g. The grain contains about 72% starch and is characterized by rapid moisture loss during the ripening period.
The plant possesses high plasticity and tolerance to drought. Resistance of the hybrid to common diseases, such as common smut and helminthosporiosis, is claimed.
