KXB9571 is a forage maize breeding hybrid used in scientific research. In publications, it is mentioned exclusively in the context of resistance trials for late wilt, caused by the pathogen Magnaporthiopsis maydis.
In comparative laboratory trials, the hybrid showed high resistance to this disease, confirmed by the absence of pathogen DNA in plant tissues. At the same time, the studies noted low seed germination under exposure to the fungal pathogen filtrate, as well as delayed biomass development at early stages compared to other samples.
