The hybrid belongs to the grain corn category. As part of scientific trials in Croatia, the pest susceptibility of the standard hybrid Landia and its modified version Landia Bt was compared. The studies showed that the standard hybrid was subjected to intensive impact from the corn borer, while the Bt version demonstrated significantly lower indicators of stalk damage.
This hybrid is associated with the Pioneer breeding program. At present, it is not a widely distributed commercial product in current seed catalogs, which indicates its status as an early or highly specialized development.
