The maize hybrid Marista (the spelling variant 3751-Marista is also encountered) was used in silage maize research and grain trials. It was used as a subject in field experiments to study susceptibility to sulfonylurea herbicides.
In scientific literature, the variety also appeared in the evaluation of the effectiveness of biological preparations based on Bacillus thuringiensis against the European corn borer Ostrinia nubilalis. Detailed morphological characteristics and yield indicators are absent from open sources.
