The hybrid belongs to the FAO 400–450 maturity group. Plant height varies from 265 to 350 cm with an ear placement height of 100–110 cm. The cone-cylindrical ear reaches 30 cm in length and has 14–16 rows of kernels. The grain is dent type, yellow-orange in color; the thousand kernel weight is 360–420 grams.
The plant is resistant to lodging, stalk breakage, and major diseases, including Fusarium, Helminthosporium, and common smut. The hybrid demonstrates high drought tolerance. The yield potential for dry grain exceeds 12–14 t/ha, and the silage mass yield reaches 45–50 t/ha or more.
The NS 444 Ultra version is characterized by resistance to cycloxydim-based herbicides, which allows the use of this system to control weeds such as Elymus repens and Sorghum halepense.
