The variety possesses high resistance to lodging and drought, as well as to Fusarium, common smut, European corn borer, and cotton bollworm. The grain contains 9.1–12.5% protein, 4.0–4.5% fats, 70–72% starch, and 0.2% lysine. The grain yield (shelling percentage) is 81–83%.
