P 7460 is a dent maize hybrid belonging to the very early maturity segment. The plant possesses high initial growth vigor and maintains green leaf color until late stages (Stay-Green).
The hybrid demonstrates good resistance to lodging, as well as tolerance to Helminthosporium leaf blight and loose smut. Due to the high grain moisture dry-down rate, the variety is suitable for cultivation in regions with a short growing season and for stubble cropping.
The recommended plant density is from 9 to 11 plants per square meter; however, in areas with significant moisture deficit, it is recommended to reduce the seeding density.
