The hybrid is late-maturing, characterized by a plant height of approximately 231.5 cm and an ear placement height of 89.5 cm. Its origin is based on the crossing of inbred lines PH1KTF and PH1V5T.
The plant possesses tolerance to lodging and Helminthosporium leaf blight, and has an average level of resistance to smut. The variety is distinguished by high drought tolerance, rapid moisture release, and adaptability to irrigated conditions, monocultures, and minimum tillage.
Grain yield is 12–15 t/ha; in specific trials, figures of 90.3 c/ha for grain and 458 c/ha for green mass were recorded. Recommended plant density before harvest ranges from 50 to 60 thousand plants per hectare depending on moisture levels.
