The hybrid belongs to the FAO 210–220 maturity group and has a dent grain type. Starch in the grain consists almost entirely of amylopectin, which determines the specialized application of the crop.
The plant is tall, with high ear placement and wide curved leaves. The hybrid possesses good early growth vigor and resistance to stalk rot and common smut, with a moderate degree of infestation by the European corn borer.
The recommended planting density at harvest is from 65–70 thousand plants per hectare in arid zones to 75–85 thousand in zones with sufficient moisture.
