The primary use is for silage; however, in some regions, the hybrid is used as a dual-purpose variety for grain and silage production. The plant possesses the Stay Green effect and high tolerance to drought conditions.
Feed quality is characterized by high silage mass yield and starch digestibility reaching 90%. In several regions, the hybrid is grown using M3 technology.
