The object Ph13am is an inbred corn line (Zea mays L.) developed for use in breeding programs. This object is not a commercial variety or hybrid intended for sowing in commodity fields.
The primary purpose of the line is its use as genetic material for crossing with other lines with the goal of obtaining high-yielding hybrids possessing the heterosis effect. Detailed agronomic characteristics of the plant are internal breeding information and are not published in open reference materials.
