The line was developed by pedigree breeding with self-pollination for 8 generations to achieve homozygosity. It is intended for the development of high-yielding hybrids with a relative maturity of approximately 104 days.
The plant is adapted to the conditions of the U.S. Corn Belt and north-central regions. The line demonstrates above-average performance in cold tolerance, stand establishment, and early growth rates.
When used in breeding combinations, the line contributes to increased grain yield, accelerated grain drying at maturity, and late flowering.
