The line is characterized by large grain size and high grain quality. In hybrid combinations, it demonstrates excellent yield performance and is suitable for cultivation in the regions of the U.S. Corn Belt, as well as in south-central and western areas.
The plant possesses good tolerance to southern corn leaf blight and anthracnose. High resistance to Fusarium ear rot and Gibberella ear rot is also reported. The line is intended exclusively for use in breeding programs for crossing.
