The line belongs to the Iodent heterotic group and is intended for use as a maternal component in crosses to produce first-generation hybrids. Morphologically, it is a yellow dent corn adapted for cultivation in most regions of the USA.
The maturity group of the line allows for the creation of hybrids with a relative maturity of 116 to 128 days. It is characterized by high yield, drought tolerance, resistance to extremely high temperatures, and the presence of two pairs of fertility-restoring genes.
