The hybrid is a genetically modified form. The YG index in the name indicates the presence of the European corn borer protection trait. The plant is characterized by medium to high stature, with straight tassel branches and a medium angle between the main axis and the lateral branches.

The ear is long and cylindrical-conical in shape with a high number of grain rows. The grain is of the semi-flint type. Glumes and silks are characterized by weak or very weak anthocyanin coloration.
