The variety is classified as a maize hybrid. The main known characteristic is an FAO maturity index of 350 or higher, which places the plant in the late-maturing category.
In 2006, the European Commission authorized the Polish authorities to prohibit the use of this variety on their territory due to its unsuitability for local climatic conditions resulting from its high maturity index.
